Those first days are quiet, fleeting, and unlike any other time in your child’s life.My newborn sessions are designed to capture your baby in a calm, natural way — focusing on connection, simplicity, and timeless imagery that never feels dated.
Sessions are baby-led, unhurried, and styled with soft, neutral tones so the focus stays where it belongs: on your baby.
What’s Included
Your newborn session includes:

*All edited digital images delivered in an online gallery
*Images ready for sharing and personal printing
For families who would like something tangible for their home, professional fine art wall artwork is available separately following your session.
The Experience
Newborn sessions take place within the first few weeks of life and are guided entirely by your baby’s needs.
There is no rush — time is built in for feeding, soothing, and settling.
My style is soft, simple, and natural, with an emphasis on clean tones and gentle posing that keeps your baby comfortable and safe.
After Your Session
Your newborn gallery will be delivered no later than two weeks after your session. Once delivered, you’ll receive a private online gallery where you can view, share with loved ones, and download your images at your convenience. Galleries remain available for two weeks, so I recommend downloading your images within that time to ensure everything is safely saved.
If you find you need a little more time, please don’t hesitate to reach out. If a gallery has already been deleted and needs to be re-uploaded, a $20 gallery re-upload fee will apply.
Along with your gallery, you’ll have the option to explore fine art wall pieces, albums, and keepsake designs created using images from your session. These artwork options are completely optional and are designed to turn your favourite images into timeless pieces for your home.
Birth Announcements & Keepsakes
Birth announcement designs are available as an optional keepsake created using images from your session. Each design includes your baby’s name and birth details and is delivered as a high-resolution digital file, allowing you to download and print it at your convenience.
With the purchase of any wall art piece or album, the birth announcement design is included at no additional cost. Birth announcements may also be purchased separately as a standalone keepsake.

Tips for the Best Newborn & Family Photography Session
Preparing for a Calm and Beautiful Newborn Photography Session
With years of experience photographing newborns and families, I’ve learned that thoughtful preparation creates the most beautiful and peaceful images. These tips will help ensure your newborn photography session is relaxed, comfortable, and enjoyable for your baby and your family.
Before Your Session
Schedule around baby’s routine
Whenever possible, book your session during a time your baby is typically sleepy. Keeping your baby awake for 1–2 hours before the session can help them fall into a deeper sleep, allowing for those timeless curled newborn poses.
Feed baby just before the session
Newborn sessions typically last 2–3 hours, so a full feeding beforehand helps your baby stay content and settled. You are always welcome to feed during the session as needed.
Bring a pacifier (if baby uses one)
Even if your baby does not regularly use a pacifier, it can be helpful for soothing between poses.
Dress baby simply
A plain onesie or sleeper is perfect for arriving at the studio. The studio is kept very warm for newborn comfort, so parents are encouraged to wear light layers.
Best age for newborn photos
Newborns are best photographed within the first 5–10 days of life, when they are sleepier, naturally curled, and less likely to have baby acne or colic.
Soothing environment
White noise and gentle womb sounds are used throughout the session to help keep your baby calm, relaxed, and settled.
Props, Safety & Studio Experience
I provide a curated collection of professional newborn props, wraps, headbands, hats, and blankets for every studio session. My home studio in Mission, BC is designed with controlled lighting and a calm, cozy environment specifically for newborn photography. All props and equipment are cleaned and sanitized before and after each session.
If you have a sentimental item such as a special blanket, stuffed animal, or family heirloom, you are very welcome to bring it. I will do my best to incorporate meaningful personal touches into your newborn portraits.
Your baby’s safety and comfort are my top priority, and all poses are created gently with baby-led positioning and safe support techniques.
Fine Art Newborn Wall Art & Albums
Many families choose fine art canvases and albums to display their baby’s tiny details in their home. These pieces are designed to be timeless keepsakes that you can enjoy every day and treasure for years to come.
Wall artwork is completely optional and designed to complement the images from your session in a timeless way.
