What to Wear for Family Photos
For a timeless and cohesive look, I recommend choosing soft, neutral tones and coordinating colors rather than matching outfits exactly. Creams, soft blues, sage greens, muted pastels, and warm earth tones photograph beautifully and keep the focus on your family and connection.
Avoid large logos, bold graphics, and busy patterns, as simple clothing creates a clean and elegant look that will feel timeless for years to come.
Comfort is important—especially for children. Soft fabrics and clothing that allows movement help everyone feel relaxed and natural during the session.
I’m happy to offer outfit guidance when you book your session to help you choose a color palette and style that photographs beautifully.
Mini Photography Sessions
Looking for a shorter, seasonal photo session? Mini sessions are offered throughout the year and are perfect for families and children who want beautiful portraits in a themed setup at a special session rate.
Seasonal Mini Session Themes:
• Christmas Minis
• Valentine’s Day Minis
• Easter Minis
• Spring Minis
• Mommy & Me Minis
• Daddy & Me Minis
• Halloween Minis
Mini sessions are quick, fun, and ideal for updated family photos or themed portraits.
Why Choose Glenda Monsen Photography
As a wife, mother, and longtime caregiver, I understand how quickly children grow and how meaningful family memories are. My sessions are relaxed, child-friendly, and gently guided so everyone feels comfortable and natural in front of the camera.
I focus on timeless, natural portraits that capture real connection and emotion—images you will be proud to display in your home and share for generations.
Families often tell me how easy and enjoyable their session felt, and how much they love their finished photographs.
